It all started when my parents packed my sister & I into Mom’s 1977 Toyota Corolla orange car & drove us to Florida. I knew I was a child of the world. A nomad. A drifter. A thrill seeker. I couldn’t sit still & when I was afforded the opportunity to travel, I did. I looked at money this way; how much do I have to work in order to get the money to go “there”? And sometimes it was tight, but I did it anyway. No regrets.
The first real adult trip I took was to Lausanne Switzerland. Freshly divorced, broke, but lucky to have a friend that saw the rough patch I had just gone through & flew me over on their Aeroplan points. I stayed with an old roommate who was working there. 16 days abroad in 2004 & it changed my life.
Now, after owning a successful catering business for 22 years, once again, I’m a child of the world. Selling my business is making it possible for me to travel & entice people to come along & Eat The World With Me.
Where to go next?!
