I bet you’re starving, so let’s make our way to let the Tourteaux brothers impress at our first Michelin Star restaurant, Flaveur, known for it’s gastronomic world flavors.
Our beds never felt so good, after gorging on the All Latitudes 8 course menu with wine pairings.
Day two:
Breakfast served seaside at La Rotunde consists of anything your heart desires.
Enjoy a day of free time to walk the promade, hire a tuk tuk to take you to Galeries Lafayette, with some of the best shops in the world or book a beach chair & umbrella to decompress with a view of the beautiful blue sea after the long journey. Nice is an incredible city of diversity & class. We’ll meet back at Le Negresco hotel to dress for dinner….it’s worth snazzing up for!
JAN restaurant, situated in Quartier Du Porte district, lays homage to local suppliers of the cotes de azure, with techniques drawn from the owner/chef’s South African heritage. Chef Jan proves that cooking is art & the plate is his canvas, with dish after dish of his Classique Pairing menu served expertly in the cozy 18 seat restaurant. But first, we’ll stop at JAN’s sister restaurant, MARIA, located across the street for a simple cheese & jelly plate before diving into JAN’s Michelin Star offerings. You’ll be stuffed with more than just amazing memories after another delightful dining experience at Jan’s.
Day Three:
Rest easy, you’re on a holiday & there is no rush. We’ve got a fun convertible booked for your 30-minute coastal drive to Monaco! This tiny country, famous for the Monaco Grand Prix, casinos, and Princess Grace, is the playground of the rich and famous. Here you can visit Prince Ranier III’s private collection of antique cars. Stroll along the harbor and view mega-yachts owned by the ultra-rich or try a game of chance at the world-famous Casino de Monte Carlo. I’ve got an insider’s way to book a table at Le Louis XV, the three Michelin Star restaurant, located in the absolutely stunning, Le Hotel De Paris, where you’re also are staying!
Day four:
Enjoy a free day to explore this tiny country. We’ll give you lots of options of things to see & do. One thing for certain, your reservations tonight come with a view at Le Grill. Make memories while toasting your success, Le Grill offers an exceptional panorama view of the Italian coast. This address has been graced by some of the most rich & powerful people in the world….the food is absolutely sublime & the wine list will leave you weeping with joy.
Day five:
If looking out over Monte Carlos Bay makes you yearn for a day onboard a yacht to sail the Med, so you’re in luck when I say, “All aboard!” & you’ll find your belongings already stowed on the Arcoa 42, a Riva style yacht that will whisk us along the French Riveriera coast line to Cannes. The journey includes cool wind in your hair & champagne on ice!
There’s no better time to be Cannes, as the most sought-after event in the world to the rich & famous includes the Cannes Film Festival & you’ve got a ticket in your hand for one of the best events in the weeklong line up! Cocktails & Couture in Cannes is a one of a kind gala that kicks off al fresco, with cocktails in the early evening as guests show off their edgy red carpet looks. Everyone is there not only to see & be seen, but to bid on rare treasures that are auctioned for a very worthy cause. Getting these tickets is no easy feat, so bask in the glory while brushing elbows with some of the hottest stars on the planet. This one is extra-special.
Will you be able to come down from that kind of high? Your room at Hôtel Barrière Le Majestic Cannes might help!
Day six:
After a night like that, a true indulgence to remember, we’re going to take the glitz down a notch as we meander our way through the French countryside to the incredible mini-city that boasts 6 Michelin star restaurants, Aix-en-Provence. Stick close, as the narrow maze of winding streets become baffling. Some of the highlights of this town are walking around peaceful gardens, appreciating the works of art in the plethora of art galleries & perusing the local markets. This is the true Provence, a cultural mecca of everything France has been.
We’ve secured reservations tonight at the mythical Restaurant L'Oustau de Baumanière, a three Michelin Star restaurant established in 1945, that is sought out by royalty & stars across the globe, searching for a true taste of exceptional French style gourmet fare in beautiful Provence.
Don’t worry about going far to your lodgings tonight because we’ve chosen to stay right here at Baumaniere Les Baux De Provence, so have that extra nightcap!
Day seven:
Because Aix – de has so much to offer, we’ll stay two nights & explore our surroundings leisurely. Your first full day can be spent many ways, so our suggestions are:
STROLL down Le Cours Mirabeau & get lost in the narrow streets, visit Paul Cezanne’s art studio, stop at one of the many outdoor cafes for a glass of locally produced wine, or grab souvenirs & a block of good cheese from Le Grand Marche. If you’re feeling spiritual, the Cathedral Saint Sauveur is open for you to take a moment & give gratitude for this life you’ve created for yourselves.
We finish up our Michelin Star luxury tour with a farewell dinner at Chateau De La Pierre Reboul! A unique culinary experience by a chef whose design is in the details.
Day eight:
Au Revoir Aix – de- Provence, we’re up & out the door in the morning to take us back to Nice & our voyage back to reality!
Thank you for trusting us with your holiday plans! We respect your time & will do everything to ensure this trip will leave you with the best thing money can buy…precious memories of Provence France & Heartbreak Tours.
